  • Prepare for Spice: Even "non-spicy" dishes may contain chili. Say "不要辣" (bù yào là) for no spice.

  • Fog is Common: Don't worry if mornings are grey — it often clears by afternoon.
  • Hongyadong Timing: Best at dusk/night — go around 6-7pm for the full neon effect.
